Last Friday, we celebrated the feast day of Saint Teresa of Calcutta, also known as Mother Teresa. She spent her life serving the poorest of the poor, showing everyone that even the smallest acts of love can make a great difference. To honor her, one student from each grade was chosen to bring forward a flower to place in front of Mother Teresa’s statue. These students were selected because they, too, have shown the virtues of Mother Teresa in their lives—by caring for others, serving with love, trusting in God, standing up for what is right, and showing humility.
May Saint Teresa of Calcutta continue to inspire us to look for ways, big or small, to serve others each day and to let God’s love shine through us. #MTA

It has been a great start to the year at MTA! Today, Middle School science classes had to solve a mystery in class. They had to use microscopes and look at unknown slides to determine if evidence collected was plant or animal cells. #MTA #Science 🔬

THANK YOU to everyone for your support of Mother Teresa Academy on Erie Gives Day! Over $13,000 was raised for our school, and that doesn’t include the match! Your belief in our mission and your commitment to the success of our students, our school, and the Erie community is truly appreciated. Thank you for partnering with The Erie Community Foundation in brightening the futures of our students. We are so grateful for the outpouring of generosity. #MTA #ErieGives2025
