On September 14, at a reception held at the Erie Art Museum, we were honored to receive a $20,000 grant for our "Full STEAM Ahead!" project by the The Erie Community Foundation's Young Erie Philanthropists! With our current personnel, programming and now resources, not only can we offer this educational path, but we can also provide modern experiences and career paths that will further prepare our students for a success in the modern world. Through this grant, our students will now take a variety of science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics opportunities right on our inner-city campus. We are truly grateful for Young Erie Philanthropists' support of this project and our school!
