We gathered together today for Mary’s Day to honor our Blessed Mother through a prayer service and Mass. We were blessed to celebrate with our own Fr. Ben Daghir and Fr. Phil Pinczewski from Blessed Sacrament, who led a beautiful Mass that included the crowning of Mary.
A special thank you to the students who helped make today so meaningful. We are grateful to our readers, Autumn Walker ’27 and Catalina Barnes ’30, and our gift bearers, Davier Andino ’33 and Breylynn Gibson ’27.
Our talented choir of third and fourth graders, joined by Payton Hibbler ’30 on the box drums, beautifully led us in Hail Mary, Gentle Woman and Testify to Love—a cherished Villa tradition that continues to be part of our school community.
Congratulations to our K–8 May Court: Az'Lynn Moffett-Clanton ’34, London Knapp ’33, Eva Tatum ’32, Angellyce Moore ’31, Irianys Montero ’30, Aubree Ropelewski ’29, Da'Naira Jones ’28, Charisma Duck ’27, and our May Queen, Yareli Arenas ’26.
They were proudly escorted by Christopher McCullum ’34, Maxxon Dejesus ’33, Miguel Arenas ’32, Deonte Tate Jr. ’31, Bentley Nolan-Vazquez ’30, Du'Mali Seawright ’29, Gemariah Woodard ’28, Miguel Saldana ’27, and Jayden Williams ’26.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this Mary’s Day celebration such a special and faith-filled occasion for our school community. 💙🕊
