Last Friday, we celebrated the feast day of Saint Teresa of Calcutta, also known as Mother Teresa. She spent her life serving the poorest of the poor, showing everyone that even the smallest acts of love can make a great difference. To honor her, one student from each grade was chosen to bring forward a flower to place in front of Mother Teresa’s statue. These students were selected because they, too, have shown the virtues of Mother Teresa in their lives—by caring for others, serving with love, trusting in God, standing up for what is right, and showing humility.

May Saint Teresa of Calcutta continue to inspire us to look for ways, big or small, to serve others each day and to let God’s love shine through us. #MTA

It has been a great start to the year at MTA! Today, Middle School science classes had to solve a mystery in class. They had to use microscopes and look at unknown slides to determine if evidence collected was plant or animal cells. #MTA #Science 🔬

Each year, our eighth-grade students have an opportunity to leave their mark on our school in an artistic and creative way. This year, Damarah Canady ’25 took to learning about digital art and design. “DC” spent hours working on Mrs. Rodgers’ iPad to create incredible works, and one of those became this year's mural. Many of the members of the Class of 2025 were able to put paint on the wall, but the mural was largely completed by DC and AJ Hess ’25. Mrs. Rodgers and our middle school team witnessed these two taking complete ownership of the wall and making sure it would be mostly complete before they moved on from MTA! A HUGE thank you to all the teachers who have supported these students in getting the work done and allowing them to work on the mural during classes when their other work was completed. It was so fun to watch these two move along so quickly from start to finish, and to see them interact with our younger students when they would ask about the work. This mural is located upstairs in the middle school wing of our school right next to Mr. Conley's room. Art has an amazing way of connecting people, and this mural was an amazing way to end the school year. We are so proud of the Class of 2025! What a year! #MTA #Art #Classof2025 🎨🖌️
