Dress Code

All students must abide by the following dress code each school day from the start of school through the end of school. Exceptions will only be granted for medical necessity; the student must see administration before school begins for an excusal pass. All uniform articles must be in good condition with no damage or marring, in good taste, and must complement one’s overall appearance. Students in violation will be subject to disciplinary action.

Girls Uniform Guidelines:

  • Navy blue skirt, skort, dress shorts/pants

    • Skirts, skorts and dress shorts are required to be arm to fingertip length

    • Navy blue, black, royal blue, grey or white belt is to be worn with dress pants

  • Royal blue or orange polo

    • Tucked in at all times, unless a banded shirt is worn

  • Solid color sweater or cardigan (no hoodies)

    • Navy blue, black, royal blue, grey, or white

  • Solid color socks

    • Navy blue, black, royal blue, grey, or white

  • Closed-toe dress shoes or plain (no eccentric designs) KEDS/VANS sneakers

    • No high-top or basketball sneakers

  • Female students are permitted to wear a small wristlet to conceal feminine products. Purses, backpacks, handbags are not permitted during school hours.

Boys Uniform Guidelines:

  • Navy blue dress shorts/pants

    • Navy blue, black, royal blue, grey or white belt is to be worn with dress pants

  • Royal blue or orange polo

Physical Education Uniform Guidelines:

  • Solid color or appropriate t-shirt

    • No vulgar or obscene language

    • No pictures of drugs, alcohol, or violence

  • Gym shorts, sweatpants, or athletic pants

    • Shorts are required to be arm to fingertip length

    • No tear away or zipper pants/shorts

Grooming & Novelties

All students must abide by the following grooming and novelties dress code each school day from the start of school through the end of school. Any student in violation will be subject to disciplinary action.

Hair Guidelines:

  • Neatly styled

    • No extreme styles

    • Should not impair one’s vision

  • Neatly trimmed

    • Appropriate length

      • Not touching floor when sitting/standing

    • Boys are permitted to have sideburns no longer than the middle of the ear and maintain a clean shave

  • Of a natural color

  • No novelty accessories

    • Feathers, rainbow false hair clips, glitter, etc.

Make-Up Guidelines:

  • Female students in grades 6-8 are permitted to wear minimal and tasteful make-up

    • No fake eyelashes, glitter, or heavy eye shadow.

    • Students wearing an abundance of make-up will be required to remove it.

Nail Polish Guidelines:

  • Female students are permitted to wear fake nails and/or nail polish

    • Nails should be no longer than finger tip length

    • Only solid color nail polish

      • No glitter, gems, stickers, designs, or add-ons

Boys Jewelry Guidelines:

  • Wristwatch

    • No smart watches

  • Thin bracelet

    • Not to be dangly or stretchy

  • One ring

  • Thin gold or silver chain inside of the polo

Boys Nonacceptable Jewelry:

  • Earrings of any kind

  • Long chains

  • Facial piercing

Girls Jewelry Guidelines:

  • Wristwatch

    • No smart watches

  • Thin bracelet

    • Not to be dangly or stretchy

  • One ring

  • Thin gold or silver necklace inside of the polo

  • Stud earrings

Girls Nonacceptable Jewelry:

  • Hoop or dangly earrings

  • Facial piercings
